Tibet Times Milestones:
- September 02, 1996: Tibet Times office established, coinciding with Tibetan Democracy day
- July 10, 1997: Starts publishing every ten days newspaper from its Bi-monthly publication
- May 01, 1998: started publishing books related to Tibet’s political struggle and Tibet’s history. To date, Tibet Times published a total of fifteen books.
- February 10, 2000: Inaugurated Tibet Times static webpage with Tibetan, English and Chinese language
- July 06, 2008: Introduction of Unicode Himalayan Tibetan font website
- November 20, 2010: Tibet Times Audio-Visual (Video news) project initiated
- April 01, 2011: Start providing stipends for translated articles & significant news on other languages
- February 01, 2013: Appointed four Regional Reporters from the USA, Europe & Australia and six Regional correspondents/coordinators from India
- April 01, 2014: Start providing journalism workshops and training to graduate students & volunteer staff and conferment of the certificate to the participants.
- September 02, 2015: Release of WordPress based Tibet Times website
- July 06, 2017: Tibet Times Mobile App was launched. It is the first-ever Tibetan News App based on NDK and SDK program, compatible with both IOS and Android Devices
- December 10, 2020: Revamped existing Tibet Times website
- July 06, 2023: Introduction of new full-fledged English website covering inside Tibet news, videos, opinions, self-immolation facts and many more
