Info: A 39-year old monk called Karma Ngedon Gyatso died after setting himself on fire at the Boudha-Nath  stupa in Kathmandu, Nepal, on August 6. Ven. Karma Ngedon Gyatso, who was unable to walk due to a severe disability, had arrived in exile from Tibet in October, 2011. Tibetans who knew him describe him as deeply religious. He was taken away in critical condition to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Kathmandu where he was pronounced dead, the sources said, adding that scores of police converged at the shrine to beef up security in the area.
