Info: A young man named Shurmo self-immolated near a bus station in his native Shagchukha village around 1 pm on Sept. 17, 2015. Authorities arrested him and took him to a hospital, where he died later that day. As part of China’s policy of punishing the family members of self-immolators, police also arrested three of Shurmo’s relatives.
