Info: Thupwang Kyab set fire to himself near the bus stand in Setri village in Sangkok township in Sangchu county, Ganlho Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu province, in the Tibetan region of Amdo. Tsewang Kyab died, and despite an attempt by officials to intervene, local Tibetans covered up his corpse with khatags (white blessing scarves) and took him to his home.
